For many genealogists the online database has been their starting point. Although online resources are populated with documents from archive services, there remains millions of undigitised documents that could help your research. This talk will provide an overview of UK archive services, how to find them and will give you hints and tips on using their resources.
This talk is appropriate for those beginning their research, those that need a refresher, and those wanting to make sure they are getting the best out of their research in archives.
About the speaker: Janice Tullock is an archives consultant, researcher and genealogist working with collections and archive services across the UK. She was co-consultant on the establishment of the UK Archives Accreditation Standard and was in the first group of Fellows of the ARA.
