About the speaker: Marie Cappart is a professional historian and genealogist, well-known speaker and the author of the best-selling Guide to Genealogy in Belgium.

 Based in Brussels, Marie is the owner of Histoires de Families [Family Stories], a professional service for researching family in Belgium, Northern France and The Netherlands.  She serves as country manager for MyHeritage in Belgium and has expertise in a wide range of genealogical and historical topics, including World War I and World War II, and history of women.
