Lunchtime Chat: Women's History

Else Churchill is in our virtual SoG common room ready for a chat. So grab a sandwich and a cup of tea and sit down with us. 

Our lunchtime chats are friendly and relaxed. Else takes the opportunity to talk with you all about the Society, and how we, as a Society, can help you. For this chat, she gives a brief talk about women's history. 

Then it’s your turn to talk. Take part in a discussion on the women in your ancestry. We would love to hear about the female ancestors you admire, or interesting stories you may have come across, so do come prepared to share these with us.

 About the speaker: 

Else Churchill is the Genealogist at the Society Genealogists in London and a has over 30 years of experience as a genealogist.

Formerly a professional genealogical librarian and researcher, Else has worked for the SoG since 1994. She is the Society’s subject lead, working across the organisation and runs the publishing programme.
